Potassium Hydroxide Doped With (Poly(Methyl Methacrylate) (PMMA) Polymer as Electrolyte for Electrolytic Double layer Supercapacitor (EDLC) Application

The prime objective of the present paper is to develop polymer electrolyte doped with salt. A solution cast technique was adopted a solid (Poly (methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) as host and salt potassium hydroxide, KOH dopant. Incorporation increases amophosity homogeneity, decreases surface roughness. Moreover, doping (KOH) overall conductivity film. Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) reveals enhancement in (4 orders magnitude) by doping. FTIR shows complexation composite nature films. Polarized optical microscopy (POM) reduction crystallinity which further confirmed Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). Fabricated electrochemical double-layer supercapacitor using maximum conducting symmetric carbon nanotubes electrodes specific capacitance 21.86.
